Starting with Chase The Zones
The basics you need before the analytics, plans, and challenges become useful.
How do I get started with Chase The Zones?
Simply create an account and connect your Peloton account. Once connected, you can start generating weekly plans and using the analytics tools around your ride and run history.
Do I need a Peloton account to use it?
Peloton integration gives the best experience because workouts, class details, and performance data sync automatically. Without it, much of the analytics value is naturally reduced.

How sync and data access work
This is the core integration that powers dashboards, records, and historical trends.

How often does my Peloton data sync?
Your data syncs when you connect and then continues in the background. You can also trigger a manual sync from your profile if needed.
Is my Peloton data secure?
Yes. Credentials are encrypted and only the data required to provide the service is accessed. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
What Peloton data does Chase The Zones access?
Workout history, class details, performance metrics such as output, heart rate, and distance, plus profile information needed to generate plans and analytics.
Weekly plans, progress, and platform focus
How are weekly plans generated?
The system analyzes your synced workout schedule and generates weekly structure around rides, runs, recovery needs, and training rhythm.
Can I customize my weekly plan?
Yes. You can edit plans, adjust scheduling, and make changes while still using the suggested structure as a starting point.
What types of exercises are included?
The old standalone exercise library is no longer a core part of the product. The main focus is now synced workout data, analytics, pace and FTP references, and broader training insight.
How do I track my progress?
Use the Metrics page and the wider analytics toolkit to review milestones, records, trends, and consistency over time.
How the social side works
Challenges are multi-week programmes designed to add structure, motivation, and accountability over time.
